ABOUT US.

Established in 1974 the Wellington Chevrolet Club was formed to enjoy both modified and stock Chevrolet vehicles.
Our clubrooms are based in Upper Hutt and we hold club meetings once a month.
We are basically a group of Chevy enthusiasts who come together to enjoy our cars, socialise and attend events together. We have been affiliated with the New Zealand Hot Rod Association since 1974.

If you own a Chevrolet and are interested in joining our club, we'd love to hear from you. We welcome new members and you are more than welcome to attend a few meetings to check us out.
Our meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month and start at 1pm. For more details, send us a quick message and we'll get back to you

UPPER HUTT BRANCH

The Wellington Chevrolet Club is excited to invite car enthusiasts and the wider community to our 2026 Super Chevy Sunday, which is being held at the Sound Shell, Harcourt Park, Upper Hutt, on Sunday 22 February.

This popular annual event is open to all vehicles — just turn up on the day and enjoy a relaxed day surrounded by great cars and great people.

Vehicles parking within the event grounds are subject to a $10 entry fee, while walk-in entry is free.

As part of Super Chevy Sunday, we will also be running a food drive for the Upper Hutt Foodbank. If you’re coming along on foot, we encourage you to bring a non-perishable food item to help support this local cause.

We look forward to welcoming you for a fantastic day of cars.

We run two events each year, our Super Chevy Sunday and Poker Run.

ANNUAL EVENTS

Our poker run is a fun day for the entire family. Registrations start at the Hutt Park carpark, where each participant will get directions to follow. These directions will guide you to various pitstops where you'll answer a range of questions. The poker run will lead you back to our clubrooms for prize giving, a bite to eat, and a few raffles.

All MAKES & MODELS WELCOME

Our super chevy Sunday is a laid-back event where car enthusiasts can park within the reserve and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. This family-friendly event is open to all makes and models. There is a small fee of $10 per vehicle to park within the grounds, while entry is free for spectators.

Get ready for a great day out with fellow car lovers!

The Wellington Chevrolet Club is hosting our annual Poker Run, and we’re inviting all makes and models to come along for the ride.

Event Details:

  • Start Location: Hutt Park car park

  • Time: Registration from 10am - depart 11am

  • Route: Follow provided instructions and answer fun questions along the way.

  • Finish: Clubrooms in Upper Hutt

  • Entry Fee: $15 per Poker Hand / Vehicle

What’s Included:

  • A scenic, question-filled drive through the Hutt Valley

  • Light lunch at our club rooms

  • Raffles

  • Prizes for top Poker Hands
